Abdominal Hysterectomy - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit depicts two steps of an abdominal hysterectomy procedure as seen from an anterior (front) view. The first graphic pictures a surgeon's hand cutting with a scalpel across the female abdomen. The second illustration displays a large laparotomy exposure with surgical instruments cutting along the lower border of the uterus.
